Pros:
Well packaged
Cons:
Does not taste like good Italian Cheese
This was the worst supposed "Romano" block of cheese I ever bought. I should have looked closer at the label where it said made from cows milk. When I think Romano, I associate it with the Italian Pecorino Romano - the delicious sharp sheep milk cheese. This was not it, not only did it not match the taste I was looking for - it did not taste good at all. It has an almost musty flavor and I hated the way it makes my meals taste. Avoid it like the plague!

Call me a snob but my personal rule of thumb is any cheese that is vacuum sealed is awful. There is a reason for that method of preservation.
I prefer fresh and live cheese the way it is intended.
My romano will be peccorino and come wrpped in paper from the cheese monger.
