Italian food recipe: Fish

Salmon tartar

Introduction ( a short intro ): Decorative and refreshing appetizer. Good to impress guesses and dates with minimal effort.
Ingredients: Salmon, capers,black pepper,quality olive oil,lemon.
Description: Take 1 pound of Smoked Salmon (the one that is ready to eat ). Lay the salmon on the Deruta hand painted dish, add capers, fresh grated black pepper. Squeeze 1 lemon, mix with good quality Olive oil and dribble on the Salmon. If you like, add some mozzarella slices (being bland, mozzarella combines well with salmon since the latter is salty). I also added some basil leaves in the picture. Let it sit until your Guest arrive and serve it as is. I usually combine this with a good Salad, also in the picture.

PS Add the lemon just before serving or it will 'cook' the salmon

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Very good-looking dish - Healthy and good comments from guests. Easy to prepare
Negative aspects of the product (cons):

Believe it or not, to have the best success with this recipe you need a large Deruta hand painted serving dish. Of course, this suggestion has nothing to do with the fact that I sell Deruta dishes.
