Does San Marino have an absolute ruler like the Vatican does with the Pope?

I have never given San Marino much thought, very interesting, however.

If your near to San Marino its worth a visit. Dont forget to fill your car up with petrol as its much cheaper too. If you smoke, you will save 50 euro cents on each packet too.

Very small place and can been seen in half a day so a great place to visit if your in the area.

There is a shopping outlet on the outskirts too for those into fashion.

Also, the Knights of Malta possess properties in the city of Rome that are considered extraterritorial. The Palazzo Malta at Via dei Condotti, 68 and the Villa Malta on the Aventine Hill.

If you look through the keyhole of the Villa Malta, you can see the Vatican Dome.
