Hi Bubbles and Guido,

This is a great idea. When my husband and I lived in Rome, we bought him great clothes. It was so much fun to shop there because the clothes are more fitted and he is tall and lean. We even splurged on a a custom-made suit as a graduation present. It is classic and will never go out of style.

I would love to have a section we could go to for ideas to stay current on Italian fashion.

Martha

In Rome. An Italian friend hooked us up with his tailors. They let us choose from several bolts of fabric, took measurements, did 2 or 3 fittings along the way and WOW - a gorgeous custom-made suit. Truly a splurge though we probably paid about half of the price to have one made in NYC.

Hi Martha,

I finally started out on the series of articles on menswear: the first one on men's neckties

I know it is a little later than expected, but better late than never, right?

Hi Bubbles,

I loved this article! You did a great jobI If only men would dress up more here in the States. The casual dress code is so boring! I love seeing a man dressed well. Great photos too!
Keep 'em coming!

Thanks Guido and Martha
I am in the process of doing a whole series. But the problem with these articles is that writing, finding pictures, and formatting the whole lot takes days!

Dan has done a great job on putting them up, so a whole lot of the credit goes to him too
