Default The Mall?

Hi there, just wondering if anyone has any imformation on the shopping outlet, The Mall, near Firenze. Some friends of mine go there for a day everyear while they're out in Italy and they recomended it to me. Embarrasingly enough concidering how long I've been going to Italy I haven't actually been there yet,but after not getting the chance to last year when I wanted to go, Ive decided I will go there during the Summer this year.
I'll be in Italy around the weeks leading up to the Ferragosto and after the Ferragosto, so obiviously I am aware it wont be open on the Ferragosto as pretty much all shops close, but was wondering if anyone knows the days it will be open? Or will it be everday except on the Ferragosto?
And just some comments on what the outlet is like =) Thanks.

Hi
I have been to most of the Florence outlets and have found that it is hit or miss. Sometimes there are only expensive bargains like a Prada jacket that was 3950 E selling for 1500E. If that is what you are looking for go for it. Most of the outlets are open on Sundays but I don’t know about holidays. Here is a list with websites that may help you get the info you need. I personally like the Barberino outlet in Mugello area. Price and choice were great. And that is coming from a spoiled shopper who lives in the discount shopping area outside NYC. It will give you hours and days open etc.

Thank you very much Susan =)
And thanks for the links to the websites too, greatly appreciated.
To be honest, I'm not intending to neccisarily buy much, but I am deffinanlty looking for bargains. I wouldn't want to spend too too much, but I am interested in buying some expensive deigner brand goods, but not too expensive,(as in the 1000 Euro price range) but any expenisive baragains which grab my interest and have been reduced from a large amount to possibly 100 - 600 Euros, making a good bargain, I'm interested in. After all it is just a one off thing, its good to save up and treat myself once in the year. Although, I might check out some more cheaper places too, just to get some cheap, but trendy Italian styles, which may possibly therefore involve two trips perhaps? One to the Mall or one of the others for example, maybe just to treat myself to a couple of things and another day to a few high street Italian stores.

Try to get to the Barberino outlet. WE went at least 2 times and always found something each time.. the D&G and Prada are hit and miss but who doesn't love to shop. the Mall was the priceiest.
