It will be my first thread in this forum (after introdusing). Its 7 years i work as tailor in Ukraine. Started from poor work and now have circle of usual clients. Here its very popular. Market of clothes in Ukraine is very wide but its often sport lines. If classic - so as minimum twice expensive, but common problem - to find correct size, right shape and color etc. Cant say that people who come to me have problems with bodies - its usually good-looking people. So im very interested what is the situation in Italy. Anybody of you ever asked a help of tailor? Will be glad for any opinion. Grazie!

I have not taken the help of an Italian tailor, but have worked in Italian fashion, with stylists etc. Italian tailoring is famous the world over, and yes, people take a lot of pride in their clothing. I personally know people who would go to the tailor to get a suit or dress altered and made just so.

But as i know the persons who ask for help of tailors are women in "respectable" age, young women ask evening dresses or its men who ask classic unique clothes. And teenagers?
