Hi
two members just asked how to add a profile picture. The profile picture that appears on the thread is called avatar.
To add a new picture / avatar just go to My profile and click on edit avatar
Or follow the link below http://my.lifeinitaly.com/profile.php?do=editavatar

Yes, but, please, how do you then make it so that your avatar shows whenever you make a post/write a thread?? Grazie.

Tango,
If you click on "my profile" on the top bar, then on the left side you'll see an "edit options" link. Click on that and then go down the page, i think its called "thread display options" Under that you will see the options below. Make sure Show avatar is selected.
Visible Post Elements
You have the option to show or hide various elements of messages, which may be of use to users on slow internet connections, or who want to remove extraneous clutter from posts.
Show Signatures
Show Avatars
Show Images (including attached images and images in [IMG] code)

Tangobunny, I edited your avatar to put a picture there, and it worked. So there probably is some mistake in something you do.
If you want, send me a picture with a pm, or via e-mail, and I'll edit the avatar for you.

Tango, try uploading your own pic. It obviously worked with what Dan did. Sometimes if the pic is too big it wont upload correctly.
