I cannot tell you how very pleased I am that you have decided not to use the new "community" system Paolo!
Another Italian based website has changed over from vBulletin to this new system - and in my opinion, it has been an absolute disaster. with the new stle, all the feeling of close real community seems to have disappeared, people are very confused and do not understand how it works - they really do not like it at all - and although people will learn how to use it and get used to the new way things work - why fix something that it not broken?
By changing over to this new style - you will risk alienating a lot of members who already feel happy and very much at home with the vBulletin format.
wise decision to wait for the new version. It promises many new features and updates. vBulletin aren't stupid enough to let their massive customer base disappear over to a new competitors format - so I'm sure they will make some massive improvements to their next upgrade release.
