Dear Wolf,

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your upcoming marriage.

As I woman I am really impressed that you're searching the web to find a perfect place to treat your soon to be wife to a memorable dinner. She is a very lucky woman!!! And you're a great guy!

Our site administrator is from Rome. He will give you some advise tonight or tomorrow. He was busy with the site transfer in the last week or so.

I wish you best of luck in your very noble and highly risky job in Afganistan. And I wish you to have the most beautiful ceremony in Rome. Please share the pictures.

Big Hug, The Russian.

Wolf
This article recommends some restaurants -
Best Restaurants in Rome | Italy
The first in the list is a good choice - You fill find 99% Italians in there sometime soccer players of both Rome team and Lazio go there - It is also next to the Milvian Bridge -
Another is the Antica Pesa in Trastevere - None is cheap however but there are only 6 of you so it should not be too bad
