Smile New adventure living in Italy

Hello to all
I am new to this site but looking to learn of all information that will contribute to my transitional change over to living in Italy. I'd appreciate any assistance into how I can volunteer to help within the local school in order for my italian speaking to improve but also to assist with english learning.
My retirement date is a few years away but this is the time for me to develop contacts and relationships to be a part of the community
Advice and knowledge I would appreicate
Thank you
