I have an apartment which will be available for rent starting as early as Feb 21st. Would be willing to wait for you on March 1st as Feb only has 28 days.
I can not offer house sitting.
My place is advertised for 1.300 euros incl condominium fees. The average monthly additional utility bills for gas, electric, phone and WIFI are approx 100 euros per month in a 12 months period for double occupancy (2 people). I have based this on previous years where there were 2 people and I've rounded it off to 100 based on inflation and to give some room for higher consumption.
I would agree to a year lease and am looking for non residents; professionals; clean and quiet always a bonus. The flat is on the courtyard and is ground floor so you would have access to private terrace where you can eat outside in warmer months. Usually from April to late Sep/early Oct.
Let me know if you are interested at columbusireland@yahoo.com

PS I have the possibility of hiring a friend locally in Rome who would manage everything for you at a cost of 100 euros a month fee. Alternatively you would contact me directly via email and I would delegate to plumber, electrician etc as needed.

Hello Bernadette,

Thank you for your reply, we have managed to rent an apartment in Tropea for April and plan to stay in Southern Italy for the first three months of our trip.

Kind regards

Pat

Isn't Tropea in Calabria? I was just double checking.
