Ciao!

I want to come climb Monte Bianco! My friends climbed it and the Matterhorn (Cervino?) in 2008. Maybe I will come in 2010 now that the economy is recovering.

Hello Carlo,

for score the Mount Blanc is the higherst mountain in Italy. Its situated in the France-Italian border.

The first recorded ascent of Mont Blanc was on 8 August 1786 by Jacques Balmat and the doctor Michel Paccard. This climb, initiated by Horace-Bénédict de Saussure, who gave a reward for the successful ascent, traditionally marks the start of modern mountaineering. The first woman to reach the summit was Marie Paradis in 1808.

You will enjoy to climb it.
I think that climb a hight mountain is a kind of meditation.
Step for step to the top.

Greetings
Adele

Ciao Bonacker. Bevenuta.

I spent a month in Italy this past summer and went to a small town by the name of Fondo in the Dolomites. Fondo is north of Trento. Stayed with some people in Fondo. They took me all around. We went to Madonna di Campiglio among many other places. Of course I had lived in Vicenza molto anni fa and had been to Cortina and Madonna di Campiglio prima. Did a lot of skying in them there hills. People just have no idea how beautiful the Dolomite mountains are. When you think of Italy you don't think of lush green pine forests, crystal clear lakes, rivers and streams. Think of the Sound of Music and Austria.

Buon Giorno,

It's great your past trip to South Tyrol. You went in two very impresful places. Fondo is a smal town, but with a important function. There are 3 valley crossing this town. Madonna di Campiglio is a rich winter holiday town. Italian actors, singer, tv people,....use this town to relax with there families. In both of this places the Alps are strong presence and the eyes can lern to focus on tredimentional immages.

ciao
