If you have Italian citizenship I don't think you need any permit.
Anyways finding a full-time job in Italy is not easy at all, in any field, but computer field isn't the worst of the bunch. I think you should look for a job from there, don't move with the goal of finding a job, or you'd risk staying months here with no income source.
In addition, a full-time job for a very short amount of time is something not so common here.
I think it's much easier finding part-time, precarious, or contract-based jobs.

Thank you. I will remember that. How about apartments? Are they easy to find? Should I have a roommate ?

Apartment are very expensive in major cities like Rome ( particolarly downtown ) - Rent gets much more affordable in smaller towns - ( We have a thread about the cost of living in Italy see Cost of living in Italy
)
You can look for a job in websites like this
Lavoro, offerte lavoro, cerco lavoro | Jobrapido

If you do not mind roomates a room in a house is a lot cheaper - It is solutions adopted often by students -

Thank you so much. Do you think I should rent from here ( Canada) ? Or should I just go to Italy and star looking for apartments. I'm not even sure where I should live. I have family in Sicily, I was maybe thinking PALERMO. I found this website Apartments in Italy Apartments for rent Italy apartment rentals, Italy furnished apartments to rent Italy sublets temporary short term rentals Italy roommates rooms for rent.

Ciao! I am going to go to Italy. Would like to get job there and of course live here. So it would be better/cheaper to rent some apartment together. I am looking to Milan side.
If y are interested, write me
