Hello All,

I'm a software technical writer living in Vermont, USA. I'm also near completion of a Master's in TEFL. I recently received my Italian citizenship and would like to relocate to Italy for a time. Anyone know what the job situation is like for software technical writers, or perhaps English teachers. I speak some Italian but not enough yet so I need some immersion experience to get up to speed. Feel free to respond, or just chat.

About job opportunities, I think you will not have huge problems with a Master in TEFL, not many Italians have so good references, and this field is currently growing in Italy, so probably there is need for workers.
About teaching English the situation is a bit saturated, also if you want to give private lesson.

I am curious...did you process your Italian citizenship via the Boston Consulate? I am 1 document away from heading down there myself and was curious as to how nice they were...let me know or private message me for more info on my journey to Italian citizenship!
