Hey guys. I am new to this site. I have used other sites for genealogy and have had somewhat good results. However I have become stuck on some things and I am reaching out in a new direction.

I am stuck on my grandfathers side of the family.

His name: Lorenzo ( given name) Romano ( Surname)
Born 1889 in Piazza Armerina Sicilia
His parents were: Salvatore Filippo Romano Born Approx 1860.
Maria Filippa Ristagno Born approx 1860

I am trying to go deeper and find out about them.
Also I am trying to get information regarding my grandfathers Millitary history. He was in the Italian infantry. Once he was let out, they wanted him to enlist again and off he went to America.

Any help with these inquiries would be greatley appreciated.
