Hello, My name is Liz and I live in London. My mother is Italian and my father was polish. We own a property in Italy and visit Italy every year, we love it. My mother and I are thinking of selling our property and purchasing elsewhere could anyone recommend where to start and give me advice on what the Italian Law is?

One recommendation could be in the region of Abruzzo. This region is the least picked through and is really just like the natural best it could be. You have the mountains, and the Adriatic sea. Third reason is that the prices are lower. Also its in the center, which is a good place to begin in.

Umbria and Tuscany are of course excellent choices as well if you can afford the areas. Abruzzo , like Jaqueline suggested, has wounderful Mountains and it is quite inexpensive when compared to the previous regions. If you like city life you also will have plenty of choices in Italy as well... Anyway it would require too long to properly answer you question unless you tell us a little more of what you are looking for ( city / seaside / mountains / hills / countryside / budject etc etc )
