Learning Italian online with video is a great idea. The video about 'pane' is a nice example and has some real Italian in it. Also, check out this site with language learning material, there is a section with videos about Italy in Italian. There are some videos about politics and daily lives and some about Italian music. To help study the language the transcript and word explanations are provided. Some even have subtitles. You need to register on the site which is free.
