Mongol the epic story of a young Genghis Khan
I just recently watched the movie Mongol which is the epic story of a young Genghis Khan. I've seen a lot of movies
about American Indians and I'm telling you those Mongols look so much like American Indians and the Mongols even had
feathers and of course bows and arrows. Native Alaskans also look just like the Mongols, Chinese, Japanese, Koreans ect. ect.
Then today I met this lady from Chiapas, Mexico that looked so much just like those Asian Mongols, Chinese etc. etc.
Ironiclly she works in a Chinese restaurants. I've been around a lot of Asian people in California and I'm telling
you she looks so Chinese, Korean, Japanese etc. etc.
I told her the story about how the Asians crossed over from Asia to America 12 to 20,000 years ago and became the so called
Native Americans or American Indians but she didn't seem to get the connection that she is related to the Chinese, Japanese, Koreans ect. etc.
Seems Mexicans don't want to be connected with the Chinese, Koreans, Japanese etc. etc. and visa versa.
How about Mexicans and Filipinos?! After the Spanish conquered Mexico they went over and did the samething in the Philippines.
So the Spanish ended up ruling the Philippines for 340 years. Of course the Spanish mixed with the Filipinos. So first you have
the Mexican Indians that were already related to the Filipinos and then you had the Spanish mixing in with both Mexicans and
Fiipino natives. On top of this there are currently 200,000 Mexican peoples who have mixed Filipino ancestry. They form around
(0.2%) of the population and its communities are found in Michoacán, Guerrero, and Colima, Mexico.
Notable Mexicans of Filipino descent
Melinda Lira - Singer (American Idol
Isidoro Montes de Oca - Mexican General and Lieutenant commander of Vicente Guerrero.
Francisco Mongoy - Military commander of Vicente Guerrero.
Jasmine Villegas - Singer
