I finally went to medical school, I applied for both medicine and engineering and got acceptd at both, but I decided I'm gonna give medicine a chance =p

Nouran, first let me suggest you to find a way to make the thread encourage general discussion, and not just be a list of how we're feeling. Here is why.
Why don't you open it in "Conversazioni in Italiano"? This are exactly the kind of talking which is needed there, not too easy nor too hard linguistically

In the morning I'm going to school for teaching apprenticeship, I need to do 150 hours of it before I can take my degree. Practically I'm helping an English teacher, sometimes she also leaves me alone with the kids
In the afternoon I write my thesis, I'm still at the 2nd page though It's about translating Dylan.
I've also been commissioned a long translation and I'll have to find time for it!
Meanwhile I'm struggling with the absurde burocracy needed for the degree.
Busy months, I don't remember the last time I've rested a bit!

Thank you for sharing your accomplishments NOURAN and Zidanie5. I enjoy reading both your posts on this sight and it does my 'mama's heart' good to see such success in the lives of people. Besides if it was written in Italian I'm afraid I would hardly be able to read it :-)

Other then usual American life my newest accomplishment would be the start of new languages Italian and Spanish. It's been a very slow process but lovely. It's been said to learn a new language one should find a lover in that desired language but I have found a new lover in language itself. They both jealously desire to spend time with me throughout the day and I'm always rewarded when I find time to do so. Who knew ?

Nora thanx for the friendship requst I've just checked my mail and profile today, I would have asked you to help me with italian but I'm already struggling with college so I'd propably just slow you down the problem isn't that college is hard it's that I'm not studying at all, I just can't make myself sit down and even read what we are lectured,
I'm not even used to using the words lectures and college =) lol I just keep saying classes and school but other than that it's soOoOo much fun,
Villa were are you? you've just went to college to study Italian, how did the experience go for you? also falco how is the second year of college going for you?

Cairo university, but the schools of medicine, pharmacy, and dentistry are at a different campus, it's near to the original one though,

it's realy so much fun, you know I think medicine just has a terrible reputation of being hard and boring, I used to think so coz only the people I know with realy high grades got to medical school but realy it's more about loOoving what you are doing than just stuffing your brain up with useless info, every time I remember leonardo de vinci and how his knowledge of anatomy helped him with painting I feel soOoOo blessed and pleased to have gone to medical school =)

Well, good luck with medical school. I admire anybody who wants to be a doctor someday...such a giving, noble, and selfless profession! No I don't think it's boring at all and I am sure that you are having fun because you do what you love! Is there any particular branch of medicine that you want to specialize in?
