Hi I was wondering if someone fluent in Italian could translate

'I will follow you into the dark' into Italian for me, would be very much appreciated, thanks

"Ti seguirò nel buio"
But like this it seems a bit creepy, to express will to go wherever the other goes it'd be better:
"Ti seguirei anche nel buio"
Which literally would be "I'd follow you even in the dark".
Ti seguirò nel buio sounds a bit like a menace, or the promise of an obsessed unwanted lover

So you say "Ti seguirò nel buio" is the literal translation from English to Italian? It's from a song lyric you see and I'm using it for a tattoo, but I didn't want the tattoo in English but rather in a much more beautiful language such as Italian or French
