Default [help] grammar correction

I would like to know if these phrases are "grammatically" correct. Can you help me?

(it's a sort of joke for a website)

"Which of the following options would you choose after understanding the meaninglessness of the universe?" (Because you are asking people to answer a specific question and providing three options).

If you change the orginal question to what I have written above, then the three choices make complete sense and do not need to be changed - even though it is a bit of a weird question to ask in the first place!

I hope that helps you.

thank you very much

What if i change " a solution in which one believes in the existence of a reality beyond the lack of meaning" to "A solution in which one believes in the existence of a meaningful reality beyond our meaningless universe".

What's better?

(sorry if i insist with my weird question :P)

Marco - I agree with Aliena that it is only the initial question that was incorrect - I would leave the choices (answers) as they were - the "A solution in which one believes in the existence of a meaningful reality beyond our meaningless universe" is probably a bit too long, and the original is probably more appropriate for a light-hearted article.

Talking OK I'll play

Hmm, both are gramatically correct - except the second one almost contradicts itself - simplified - can there be a "meaningful reality beyond our meaningless universe"?

Boh! Chissa'?

Boh! Chissa'?
The meaningful reality is represented by God.
So universe seems to be meaningless, but if you "chose" the second solution, thanks to faith in God, universe begins to have a meaning.

I wish you understand, im quite untrained about english conversation (and second language in general).

I'm so sorry, but i will insist with my question...

Someone in another forum suggested me this form

Quote:
What would you do after coming to understand the lack of purpose in our existence?

-Commit suicide: a solution in which a person simply ends one's own life

-Have faith in a transcendent realm or being: a solution in which one believes in the existence of a meaningful reality beyond our meaningless universe.

-Accept the Absurd: a solution in which one accepts and even embraces the Absurd and continues to live in spite of it.
Is this one grammatically correct too?

Instead of saying What would you do after coming to understand the lack of purpose in our existence? I would say:

What would you do after coming to understand the lack of purpose of our existence?

I agree with Giacomo. The first indicates that we lack purpose during our existence, the second that our very existence is purposeless. The others are all OK

I disagree with both Giacomo and Markymark!

The gramatically correct way to say "What would you do after coming to understand the lack of purpose of our existence?" is -

What would you do after understanding a lack of purpose in your existence?

Want me to explain why?
