Default Castiglioncello - My Hometown

Often called "The Pearl" of Etruscan coast, Castiglioncello has attracted artists, actors and celebrities for many years. Parts of the film "Il Sorpasso" were filmed here, and it has been home to the Bulgari family, Marcello Mastroianni, Alberto Sordi and in times past the "Macchiaioli" painters including Giovanni Fattori. More modern celebrities include Carlo Conti of "L'Eredita" who also has a villa here. Castello Pasquini hosts numerous dance and theatrical productions. It is a quiet, small village which comes to life in the summer months, when the population triples.

I'm currently working on the Italian woman portion, so i'm half way there. How long total has it been that you've been in the buying process for this house?

About 2 hours in the car - close enough to visit when you come!
