I am definetly more interested in the world cup this time around. I have never really watched any of the matches in previous years. Do the Italians have a chance of winning it again this time? How good is the team this year?

the winner of youth world cup (U-20) is Ghana ...
beating the Brazilian team after 2 extra halves then penalty kicks is really adorable
especially that they were playing with 10 players and opposed the Samba for 80 mins
they really deserved it ...

about the Fifa World Cup 2010,
i think it's too early to talk about the players
many changes might happen which make the coach prefer one than another (injury or worse level of playing ... etc)

what I love about that match even more than the amazing skills of the players, is the surprising score, it shows that the world cup isn't reserved for one country and that it's not realy in the genes

Hmm Giacomo, I don't think we could win it again, Lippi is being a fool, without calling in the squad some of our best players, while he keeps on calling people that was good 4 years ago but that is 4 years older now.
But with Italy you never know!

To be honest, I would be torn. I feel like I would want to root for the USA because it is my country but I also would like to root for Italy because that is my heritage and background!

Don't worry Giacomo, no matter how hard Italy sucks, we'll go much further than the US anyways, so you'll have just one team to support in the end!
