Default Just wondering

I've been wondering since 2004 why does Italy use the color blue for their international team? I know that most countries use one or two of the colors of their flag or a color that symbolizes their country such as the orange that Holland wears. I haven't been able to figure out why Italy wears blue.

I know most people aren't going to wonder that while watching soccer, but I'm a weird person. lol

Until 1911 the color of the shirt was white. at that time reigned in Italy the family of Savoy, and the color of the family was the blue ... to render honor to savoia the color was changed from white to blue.

bye

p.s. sorry for my bad english

The color blue was chosen in honor of the royal family Savoy; on their emblem it is a blue band. The first time was 1911, 6 January. Before Italia used the white jersey.

Thank you for the information.

Rapo,

I think your English is good. Your English is better than my Italian.

Imbroglione.
The root is imbroglio, which is a cheat.
Truffatore e truffa are used for most serious things, things you can go in jail for.

Grazie.

Imbroglio and Imbrogline are are little hard to memorize right away. I don't think I would need to use those words in an average day conversation so I still have time. lol
