"Some people might get upset with me for saying this, but Italian soccer is one of the few things that
I don't like about the culture. Their strategy isn't one of my favorites. I'm sorry! This reminded
me of something so I shall go talk about that in a different post because it'll be way off topic."[/quote]

Mellisa, If I had not seen this I would have thought that you're a real soccer fan.
In this thread you sound like you know what you're talking about and give the
impression that you like soccer and are really into it. LOL!

Speaking as a fellow Brit, I have no time for the bloke or his wife. Overpaid, overrated, and now, unfortunately, over here.
I'll second that. She's rather weird, goes into instant-pose-mode the minute a camera is pointed in her direction.

As for Los Angeles Galaxy, are they any good? I understood Beckham went to Milan to play some real football again, to get him prepared for 2010.

I am crazy about him too, but it is not only about how he's playing (and he's playing very good).
It is because he had to come to AC Milan just to keep training, for a couple of months. He put so much effort in it, showed to the world that he's not just a cute face playing in useless leagues, he's still a pro player and does his job very good.

I like soccer. I watch the Dutch Ajax team on TV sometimes. Not all the games, but sometimes. I also watch international games.

I'm not a huge fan of it. I'm sure there are plenty of good Italian soccer players that I don't know about since I tend to only know the ones that play for Ajax or play in the international team.

I've also just became instrested in soccer in 2004 since soccer isn't big in the USA like it is here in Europe. I have gotten used to soccer being called football. I've almost said that rather than soccer a few times.

I also wanted to join the girl's soccer team in junior high. Does that count too? I decided not to join because when we played soccer in gym I was never good at it and I had no friends to practice with. Soccer, field hocky, and swimming were the three sports I was insterested in doing when I went to school. I almost joined the swimming team but decided against it at the last minute because I didn't want everyone seeing me in a bathing suit. I was way more developed than most girls.

I may not be a huge fan of soccer like most Italians are, but I like it. It's way better than American football or baseball. Those are two very boring sports.

Since two British people have agreed with me about Beckham being overrated I guess I share the British view point when it comes to soccer.

Oh wait,

Was your comment a joke because I don't care for the Italian team when it comes to international games or was it a serious comment?

Hey! Marco Van Basten! I like him.

See, I'm not that clueless when it comes to soccer. (haha).

But then again he's part of the Ajax team.

Oh joy! David Beckham getting even more money.

You would think they would use the money to buy some food for his wife. That woman looks very anorexic. I don't know why so many people find her hot and them to be a hot couple. She used to be physically attractive back in the day when you couldn't see her rib cage.

I feel like I'm the only woman in the world who doesn't find David Beckham attractive. Although, that's something I'm proud of. It makes me unique.
