Lightbulb What you will drive soon!

• Dr. Paul S. Moller (born 1937, Canada) is an engineer who has spent the past forty years developing the Moller Skycar personal vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) vehicle. The engine technology developed for the Skycar has also been adapted as a UAV platform called ([1]) the aerobot.

Canadian Dr. Paul S. Moller who 40 years ago people thought was insane are now whistling different tunes today. His invention of the flying car has now been developed. He is currently producing economic affordable models for the market place. Reports indicate with regards too the three big auto makers that government will try to block Dr. Moller's production of flying cars.
Visit his company website and have a look at what you will be driving soon...very soon!

Molto interessante. Makes sense to me. Today's science fiction is tomorrow's reality. I'll take one in red.

Yes..how true.

Electric cars and flying cars! The once three big auto makers monoply in the auto industry has some serious future challenges.

What type of affordable energy sufficient cars should the international auto makers be producing once they recieve bailout package from tax payers money?

Wow hard to imagine! I just returned home after spending an hour relearning how to drive a car with manual transmission. But I guess we humans can learn all kinds of things even flying Beautiful though.. I hope to live to try and I will if it will be during my life time.

Time have changed: I have seen Michio Kaku ( the presenter ) many times - He must be very inspiring for any Scientific documentary - He is always in one of them - He wrote a book Phisics of the impossible ...if you think 30 years back an oriental looking guy would not have been picked as a major scientific figure on TV ...Anyway i will keep my car for the time being

What advice would you give todays automakers?
Can you imagine the pressure the big three and world auto makers are facing today, especially in North America after receiving or waiting to receive the bail out money. These bastards connected with the OIL powers of the world destroyed us consumers with fuel costs. They could have been producing affordable electrical cars and other types of energy efficient vehicles a long time ago!
This incredible Canadian Engineer Dr. Moller www.moller.com spent 75 million to produce a Skycar that can be presently purchased for 100,000 dollars. There are normal cars on the market selling for this price. Just imagine if these auto maker assholes and government would have worked with him 40 years ago. Today, we would be flying in affordable skycars for a reasonable price…Instead they continued to produce such useless cars. Don’t be in a hurry to purchase a new car …especially one that runs on gas!

Frank, your average North American driver has a tough enough time driving on roads that guide them with stops and lights at intersections. Could you imagine them trying to handle three-dimensional space?

I was a commercial pilot & flight instructor for many years. Trust me, a lot of people just aren't cut out to fly, at least not at the controls.

Traveller, Sounds like you know what you're talking about.

A proposito. I'm the only friend you got on this forum. Could somebody else go and be friends with Traveller.

Having just been taken out by a driver on a cell phone in Europe, I know what I am talking about. My vacation was ruined and my BMW motorcycle was written off.

For some strange reason, everybody thinks they should be able to have a driver's licence and drive a car. Would you be comfortable with anyone being your airline captain?

In my previous post I mentioned that I was considering a Porsche Carrera...and what a car I found; an ultra mint 1995 model that was never winter driven and has hardly seen rain.

My long time dream come true...
