Default Jerry Seinfeld flips Fiat to avoid accident!

He is safe after his quick thinking saved him from heading into an intersection with no brakes and no emergency brake.

Both had failed to work in the Fiat!

The story reads that he was driving home in the Hamptons around 8PM this previous Saturday, and was coming to an intersection when the brakes failed to stop him. He reached for the e-brake, but that too was not working!

Deciding not to roll through the very busy intersection, he made an extreme right turn and rolled the car, which stopped before he made it to the intersection, saving his life!

However, now the story grows more interesting because many sites are claiming it was a '67 Fiat BTM. But there is no Fiat BTM. It is a made up name.

So what was Seinfeld driving? Well these are all the cars Fiat made in 1967 that were not convertibles.

1967 Fiat 1100 R

1967 Fiat 125

1967 Fiat 125 Special Berlina

1967 Fiat 1500 Cabriolet

1967 Fiat Dino Coupé 2.0

1967 Fiat Dino Spider 2.0

We can rule out drop-tops since if he were in one, he would surely be dead. So what was he driving?

Please add to the list if you know of a specific Fiat made in 1967 that is not there.

Default Seinfeld was driving a Fiat 500

So there has been an update with the incident, and the car was actually a 1967 Fiat 500. It was also said that the report was greatly exaggerated, and the car only fell on its side and did not flip or roll.

Oddly enough, Seinfeld isn't the only famous person driving an original Fiat 500. Tina Turner and Michael Schumacher both have one themselves!

With the situation cleared up now, we can all go back to focusing on cars!
