Exclamation Leonardo Da Vinci

Many of us know leonardo as the famous artist who drew the Mona Lisa, but what not many of us know is that he was both an artist and a scientist. he used his knowledge of anatomy to help improve his painting (it helps to know the measurments and ratios of the human body if you wanna draw a portrait). he also designed the helicopter (but he didn't actualy make it). Now the reason why I like Leonardo Da Vinci so much is his way of mixing his love for art with his for science to help improve both.

See you,

I've got this A&E video on DVD of the life of Leonardo da Vinci. Course have heard about him all my life. Seems like the U.S. schools
really talk about him a lot and rightly so. Amazing guy. So far ahead of his time. Strange how he knew Michelangelo but the two of them didn't get along.
And they both were gay. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

I'm not really a huge art fan. I liketo admire art work, but I usually don't look into who does the art work or the reasoning behind it.

However, I guess you could say Leonardo Da Vinciis my favorite artist since I'm into science. We actually learned about him in one of my science classes. I just can't remember which one anymore.

I really like how he involved science with his art.

I know of other artists, but him and Van Gough are the two I know about the most. The reason I know more about Van Gough is because he is of Dutch orgion and there is a museum about him here in Holland. There was also a famous Dutch movie writer/diretor who was an ancestor of him. Sadly he was murdered in 2004.
