Default Tax avoidance on Italian property rebuilds

If anyone out there is considering a rebuild and is later going to run some sort of tourist venture or company that will be liable to tax, then they could recoup all the IVA paid during their project- this could equal 20% of costs.

They should seriously consider talking to a commercialista, creating a company, getting a Partita D'IVA (VAT number) and recording the IVA and saving their receipts, as all IVA paid out can be spread across the next 10 years and deducted from any IVA bills you have during future business ventures
