Default Piano Casa

It has been on the news that Silvio Berlusconi is trying push through legislation that will allow homeowners to extend their homes by around 30% of the existing size. The idea is that with the housing market being slow, this will give more work to the construction industry.

Does anyone know how far this legislation has got (if anywhere), and whether it includes properties in protected zones?

Well Markymark,

First of all, the extention allowed is up to 20%. That's a National law that must be "acquired" by Regions which are encharged to rule on these arguments. So every single Region will adapt the National law with changes, limits and variations.
