Often when you have 16 years you can not understand and appreciate this (this for a lot of arguments, literature, math..); I’ve found it: a “Divina Commedia” written for children (just over 100 pages with pictures in each page). Everything is readjusted for children: Dante here isn’t a poet in “Selva Oscura” but is a different worker for each level of is walking: speleologist to the “Inferno”, climber to the “Purgatorio” and astronaut in “Paradiso”(here he wears the astronauts helmet). It is written by Enrico Cerni e Francesca Gambino and published by “Coccole and Caccole editor”.
I think it is a wonderful way to approach children to this opera that is considered the mother of “Italian languages”.

Aspira alla terra e non avrai nulla".

I studied La Divina Commedia by Dante Alighiers at the fourth year of my university study as aforeign language student I had a really hard and difficult times to understand the language from one side and to understand the subject in another side BUT I rememeber I really enjoyed italian literatura and I got in all lit. courses high scores...
It is a rich book with rich meanings, concepts and reflects of the italian literature.
