Default Tre Fratelli - Italian movie with English subtitles

Went to the local public library looking for Italian movies
and Italian CDs. This was the only Italian movie they had.

While many western nations expeienced social and political unrest during the 1970's, Italy's
problems were extreme, ripping apart the nation's social and political fabric.

Between 1968 and 1970, student riots triggered disruptive upheavals in Italy,
primarily because the extensive economic growth of the 1960's ended abruptly.

Violence and terrorism became a way of life for Italians during the 1970's and early 1980's. beginning
with a bombing at Piazza Fontana in Milan(Northern Italy in 1969.Milan(Nothern Italy not Southern Italy)was
the birthplace of the notorious Brigate Rosse, or Red Brigades, a terrorist group rumored to have committed
10,000 acts of political violence during this period. The R.B. wanted Italy to separate from the Western Alliance
and to withdraw from NATO. They bombed public places including the Army base in Vicenza. They kidnapped an American
general in Verona and in 1978 the R.B. kidnapped former prime minister Aldo Moro. When Moro's dead body was dumped
unceremoniouly into the heart of Rome, the whole world was watching.

Hi Villa -
We should discuss red brigade if you want separately since there was also a very interpretation of history circulating in the last 10 years or so in Italy.
About Italian movies since you did so much for this forum let me see what I can dig out here for you. My preferred movies are NOT available in the US. Anyway read the http://lifeinitaly.com/italian-movies section and let me know if you are interested in any - Some of them have a humor and jokes that could only be understood by Italians because the humor referred to things that only somebody living in Italy would understand but other are for more or less everybody.
