I'm hoping I can learn Sicilian as well as Italian since I would LOVE to move to Sicily someday. Of course that most likely won't happen until about 20 years from now, unless we are lucky and win the lottery. Then I would be taking a course on at least Italian before moving there. I think it'll be extremely rude to move there before having the lagnuage down.

Right now I'm able to pick up on reading Italian. I'm able to learn random things by reading. However, when it comes to writing and speaking I can't really pick up on random things. Therefore I'm going to start doing lessons for myself just like a class would have. Hopefully I'll be able to get each lesson down within in a week or two.

I'm going to start with Italian first since that's the offical lagnague.

By the way,

Is cmq a word or an abbreviation?

Grazie.

Now I really want to learn Sicilian as well as Italian. I also wanted to learn Latin but that was way too difficult for me. French and Latin are the two most difficult languages for me so far.

I wish I was faster at learning grammar and that I was able to pick up listening to words a lot easier. I feel like I'll never be able to be fluent in Italian because of the grammar.

I'm not even fully fluent in Dutch yet after 4 years. It's better than my Italian, but I'm not really fluent either. I always seem to choke up and forget everything I learned and I wind up speaking in small sentences.
