Default Sarah Palin at Saturday Night Live

Yesterday Sarah Palin partecipated to Saturday Night Live... in Italy whe have a very restrictive law named PAR CONDICIO ruling this: candidates are not allowed to partecipate to TV shows during their political campaign. 100 days before the elections TV shows are not allowed to treat political matters (even if subject of parody). Penalties are very severe otherwise.
Candidates can only partecipate to "political" transmissions where both political wings are represented. I think our law's good: it stops for a while the mix showbiz/political communication.

That wont get rid of politics. It'll still be there, at least this way i can enjoy them making fun of it. The political process here is way to long, so the comedy is all that keeps me sane. They should get rid of the entire process, have one general election and let it be over with.

my prediction is that Palin withdraws at the last minute allowing McBush to name someone else, someone more qualified, but not giving people time to think.

They will just know that the new choice is better than Palin and he will get the "swing votes".

I retract my previous statement. After remembering how easily people in this country are influenced, I would like to have the same law that italy has
