Castel Brolio, Siena. Very haunted, they say. Maybe Paolo knows more about that (our commander-in-chief here on lifeinitaly)...he has a house in that area.

hey thanks about that...need a "paranormal map" of Italy haha...if hauntings really do exist the colloseum must be full of unfairly treated spirits as a place of death for thousands of people....btw what is your personal opinion about all these ?...you think that something is really out there or maybe some incidents are overexposed in order to attract tourists or people in general ?...i really like it whatever it happens though maybe its just the thrilling situation you are getting into more than the place itself...apart from that basic psychology suggests that context and environmental reasons in general have a dramatic effect on what we perceive as paranormal.

Well...a few thoughts...everything is energy, just because we can't see something it doesn't mean it doesn't exist; energy is neither created nor destroyed...so who knows??

yap is seems that after death we all go to a big recycle bin haha...it seems that we go on living in another form maybe although the point here is if we really keep some features of our personality or our new form of life is something not related to the one we have now.we are all here to find that out when the time comes.

Many years ago I used to work for a company that organized art exhibitions. We were working for a exhibition in Castel Sant'Angelo, the ancient castle in the heart of Rome. At night before going home we locked all the doors and turned the anti-theft alarms on. Before leaving the exhibition rooms we heard a strong noise of crates crashing on the floor. We unlocked the doors to take a glipse of the crates: everything was right and nothing had fallen. The man of the museum told us not to worry as it was quite normal: there's a female ghost there. From time to time she has fun reproducing noises.

The issue is: we clearly heard that noise and the anti-theft alarm did not ring, so nobody was inside..... I don't believe in ghost but I can't give an answer to what happened that night.

The next time you are in Rome, you should take the late night Ghost tour. I can't remember exactly what it was called but we went on the tour and the tour guide took us thru back streets and piazze and told us some very good stories about what went on there in the early years. My grandchildren were very impressed.
