Can anybody tell me which is a good server for internet/telephone flatrates (ADSL)while living in Italy? Will a German W-LAN-router work in Italy ? Thanks for your help!!

I use "Alice" of "Telecom Italia" but often I have problems; I know that the better is "Fastweb"

I also use Alice - I do occassionally have problems, but rarely (the connection disappears for most of the day for no apparent reason), but for the most time it's good and reasonably fast (7meg advertised).

I don't see why a German wireless router shouldn't work here - the voltage and wireless standards are the same throughout Europe as far as I'm aware.

I also have Alice in Rome and Bolsena - It is reliable even though the speed is nowhere near the 7 mega they advertise. My comcast provider here in the US is a incredibly faster ...but unless you watch full screen video the speed should be no concern.
