Hey,

i have just moved to Sardinia from the UK. I am from South Africa, and would like to know if there are any other English or South african people in Sardinia? Been here 5 months now and miss a lot of the english culture, rugby, etc!!

I'm not living there yet but I am working on it.
We've bought a property in a town in the province of Oristano.
The plan is to retire there.
My wife and I first visited the island about five years ago - it was her first time anywhere in Italy. It was my third but the earlier visits were many decades before.
We have returned either to the island or the mainland at every opportunity ever since.
I'm a bit new to these forums. Do I just revisit here and look for your reply?

Hi, and welcome. Some guys have all the luck!. My brother in-law's friend retired and was in Sicily and Sardinia as a vacation and did some paint work as he was a professional painter(house painter, decorator) Any ways, his friend from Florida had him paint his house got a free vacation for a paint job. He could not stop raving about the people and the food in Sardinia and sicilia. I have never been to sardinia. Here you are living there!! enjoy!
