family they're the only ones you can depend on!
So close to that is what I want aslong as it makes sense and is proper Italian

Well the fact is that, although to depend does indeed mean the same thing in Italian, its immediate shade of meaning is negative, at first impact "dipendere" is not a great thing (like dipendente dalla droga-drug addict), I'd change it with appoggiare.
The best translation I can think of is: "Famiglia, gli unici ai quali ti puoi appoggiare" or "Famiglia, gli unici che ti aiuteranno sempre" (Family, the only ones who you can ask for support - Family, the only ones that will always help you).
Anyways, I love Sopranos so much as well, and I have all their episodes, if you tell me which episode it is I see it and check how that sentence has been translated in Italian when dubbing.
