This will be almost impossible as the Italian film industry uses the 'voice over' (dubbing) system for most foreign language films.

The Italians I think prefer not to have to read subtitles, and who can really blame them - but I maintain that the art of an actor or actress and their ability in interpreting their characters owe much to their voice input. IMHO many of the 'voice dubs' that I have heard have lost much of the chatacter produced by the original artist.

Hi, what Calimero says is right, we usually have doppiaggio (dubbing), but I think you can find them anyways because they are often put there for deaf people.
If you just need subtitles to add to a movie you can try to look on the site I link you by PM, in the DVDs you often have them already, you just have to set them to appear!

You are so right Calimero. For example if you watch a John Wayne film dubbed into Italian it is just not John Waynes voice so a lot of the atmosphere so to speak is lost. Also I often wonder how do people who are deaf & can only lip read manage with dubbed films as the mouth is actually speaking another language so is out of syncronation with the dubbing.
