Default Moving back to Italy

I was born in a small town south of Bari called Mola di Bari, but my family and I moved to Toronto Canada in 1967. I just went back on vacation to my home town for the first time in 42 years and liked what I saw. I am seriously thinking about moving back to live there for good and was just wondering if anybody else has had the same experience and have any tips or advice.

This is a really great story! What was it that you liked about your hometown that you liked so much? Sorry that I don't have much advice to offer.

I liked the fact that it is a small town with a slower pace of life but at the same time its very modern with lots of cars and luxury shops. The town was officially built in the 13th century so having so many cars makes it interesting but what struck me the most was that I saw no road rage, everybody is very patient. The port is literally crammed with boats both working boats and leisure boats. You're never more than 10 minutes away from the Adriatic sea which is a deep green blue color and when the sun strikes those white stucco houses its a sight to see. Thats what I miss the most the sunshine of my country. I better stop now I'm really depressed.

Attached is a picture of the main square.

Well,

good luck and I really like the picture. It reminds me a little bit of Saint Peter's Square in Rome.
