I (American) met my husband (Italian) while living in Florence 14 years ago. We have been living in the States but plan to move back to Italy. We have two children and I am having the hardest time understanding how the liceo system works. I have heard that Italian education is free until the University level. . . I have also heard that liceo requires tuition. Can anyone tell me how much Liceo costs, and give me an approximation of University costs? I'd really appreciate it. Also, I am accustomed to using the government websites in the US to identify outstanding public schools. Anyone know how you find them in Italy? Thank you for any help you can give me!
