Hi Guys

I am looking to move to Italy from York and ideally looking for a 3-4 bedroom home in Italy to rent in quite frankly any area for a minimum of 12 months.

Anyone who knows of anyone or web sites your help will be greatly appreciated.

You should first pick an area - A large city rent is very different from a small rural town and it can be as high as 10 times as much - Do you need to work ? which area are you looking in first ? North - Center - South ??

Hi Paolo

Thanks for the reply. I am wanting to move to Napoli Campania region not an apartment looking for something 3 bedroomed at least and slightly rural. It has been impossible to find agencies who do long term rental as they all seem to be holiday let with extortionate prices. Any advice you could give would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

Sophia

Sophia, I know Campania well, but you really need to decide where abouts you would like to be. At least narrow the area down a bit more and decide if you would like to be north, south or east of Naples and then I can give you lots of further info and contacts.

If I can give a suggestion, in Campania the better place to live is Benevento zone, if you look for something rural Benevento's countryside is perfect and pure, not destroyed by toxic wastes like Naples and Caserta areas. Benevento as a city then, is something really beauty and precious, without all the negative sides you can find in Naples and Caserta.
Just my 2 cents.

We all want one at 500 euros a month for a 4 bedroom villa!

I agree with Zidanie! Benevento area is lovely and you have a lot of choice of smaller places like Grottaminarda, Mirabella Eclano etc, and then even smaller places like Frigento, Sturno, Paduli, Apice etc,. Beautiful area and only an hour from Napoli. 2/3 bed villetta starts at about 450 euros a month for something unfurnished and in good condition.

Well only an hour is not completely true, it takes something more.
Oh Sturno wow what a place, I've also been to Grottaminarda and it's also breathtaking (and quiet)

Hi Zidanie and Aliena

Thank you so much for your helpful information, I will do my research on the areas you have given me. I am also struggling to find letting agents as they all seem to be holiday lets and 450-500 euros a month is amazing just do not know where to find such properties, 1200 euros is the maximum in rental I would pay.

Regarding Napoli is there a lot of crime in that area? and is it quite a poor area also? as when I look up news, there always seems to be something happening. I have been there a few times and it has always seemed fine a few beggars mainly women but never felt uncomfortable.

Zindanie if maybe you could possibly give me a better picture on life in Napoli seeing as you live there I would be grateful.

Regards

Sophia
