Max, I'm not hurted at all. Actually have never been hurted in my entire life. I've been hurt before but never hurted. Hope you're not hurted by this.

Hope you won't get hurt. So the past tense of hurt is the same as the present.
You can't add "ed" to it because hurt is an irregular verb. I have never hurt my leg before. You need the helping verb "have."

There are two kinds of verbs in English. Regular and irregular.

With regular verbs just add ed to the ending to form the past tense. To want: I wanted to go. Want is a regular verb.
I wanted, You wanted, He/She wanted, We wanted, They wanted, Everybody wanted. I have wanted. I have gone. go, went,
gone. Go is an irregular verb. Not I goed. I went.

English regular verbs are facile to form the past tense. Mi credi Max? Just add "ed."

Irregular verbs have their own word for the past tense. You can't add "ed" to them to form the past tense. Sometimes
not often irregular verbs are the same in the present and past tense and in the present perfect or passato proximo which
needs a helping verb like have, has, have been e cosi via. put put put - put(present) put(past) put(present perfect) -
I put the book down. Yesterday I put the book down. I have put the book down many times. I am putting the book down. read
read read - I read the book.(rid) I read the book yesterday.(red) I have read the book.(red) (Funny how I read the book
could be present tense or past tense. I read(reed)the book.(present) I read(red)the book.(past) That's why we use the
gerund in Englsih. What are you doing? I'm reading a book.

Let me explain my previous post: English 'to' in Italian is 'a' or 'ad' (if the following word begins with a vowel). Example:

I want to write = Voglio scrivere
I'm learning to write = Sto imparando a scrivere
I go and write = Vado a scrivere

I want to listen = Voglio ascoltare
I'm learning to listen = Sto imparando ad ascoltare
I go and listen = Vado ad ascoltare

Isn’t it about “Proposizioni infinitive”?

There are two ways to form the future tense in Italian.

(Io)vado a casa domani. I'm going home tomorrow.
(Io)andro a casa domani. I will go home tomorrow.

So andare + a + infinitive forms the future tense which is
actually used more in everyday speech. Just like a native English
speaker would say: I'm going home tomorrow instead saying I will go home tomorrow.

Vado al parco domani. I'm going to the park tomorrow.
Vado al ristorante domani. I'm ristorante tommorrow.
Vado al cinema dopo cena. I'm going to the movies after dinner.
The subject pronouns are generally dropped.

(Tu)Vai al ballo domani? Si, vado al ballo domani. Are you going to the dance tomorrow? Yes, I'm going to the dance tomorrow.
(Lei)Va al concerto domani? Si, vado al concerto domani.(conn-CHAIR-toh)

It is rather simple even if the actual use of them is quite difficult. Generally when the action is at the very beginning we use A or AD ('ad' when the following word begins with a vowel):

Comincio a scrivere = I start writing
Imparo a parlare = I learn to speak
Provo a leggere = I try to read
Inizio a studiare = I begin to study

In all other cases we generally use 'di':

Smetto di fumare = I give up smoking
Finisco di mangiare = I finish eating
Cerco di capire = I'm trying to understand

In addition to 'preferire', 'sembrare', 'piacere', 'desiderare' there's "sembrare" (which resumes "to seem", "to look like, to feel like, to sound like, to taste like, to smell like, etc.):

Sembri stare bene = You look like fine.
Sembra avere un sacco di soldi = He seems to have a lot of money
Sembra calzare a pennello = It seems to fit perfectly.
Sembri imparare molto in fretta = You seem to learn very quickly.
