i sent an email to the italian chamber of commerce. asking them if they could help me find italian companies that produced boiler parts, and this is thier reply
"We are writing with reference to your e-mail to inform you that we can provide you a list of Italian producers of combination boilers.

The list will include names with addresses, telephone and fax numbers, websites and e-mail address (if available).



As you are not Member of this Chamber, the cost of the service will be

£ 100.00 + VAT (£ 117.50) + bank charges for a list up to 30 names.



The amount is payable to The Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the UK by cheque or by money transfer
What does everyone think i dont even know if its actually going to lead to positive outcome.

Normally if you ask the Italian Chamber of Commerce, the services or information they provided are at a fee but normally its beneficial and will serve what you wanted or need

i think you can proceed with the transactions but if you are still wary of it, you can always enquire for more information

Just agreeing with you that's it's unfair what they want.
