Is it legal for women to go topless on the beach in Germany?

I guess it's pretty obvious it's legal in Holland. you rarely see any young people go topless. It's usually women in their
40's. Well at least at the beach I go to.

Default Nude Pictures

Anyway the name of the site is Life in Italy - Not Life in the US : while 30+ years ago women could not show legs on TV - Look at this Billboard that was on the streets of Rome. The billboard is an official advertisement from WWF - the same billboard would cause quite an issue in the US -

Yes, USA is still old fashioned. When it comes to a subject like this I'm glad I moved to Holland. Although, I still rather live in Italy.

Is this board owned by an American or an Italian? I mean does it follow American guidlines or Italian guildlines?

Let me make it clear. I have NO problem with female nudity, and i'm not a conservative american. I was just wondering what people thought that had those images popping up while they were at work, as it happens to me.

Well Joe - About the work aspect you are right and maybe tomorrow I will figure out out to filter out nude after they are marked as nude.

This website is based in North America but it is aimed to show Life in Italy as is in Italy nowdays ...well, as much as possible of course.

PS Yes the topless era is fading - 20 years ago all my friends were topless - I even managed to film a topless volleyball game at the beach ( the girls were my co-workers at FAO - a UN organization ) ... nowdays having your coworkers play topless volleyball seems like something out of this world .... probably in a galaxy far far away ....

Maybe topless is a thing of the past because all-nude is picking up? Wishful thinking i guess.

If there is just a way for the pics to not show up on the random pics on top, thats all i really need. I have no problem with them being in the gallery, just get worried someone will be at my desk when i refresh the page! lol

I knew I shouldn't have pushed the "submit reply" button on that
I base my facts on going to many beaches in Spain/Italy and Greece and 90% of the women are old German women who really don't care what they look like with their tops off. Sorry but that doesn't do a thing for me.

Joe, there is another solution. Scroll down one notch and the top of the page goes away and you won't see the pictures, or .

It's going too far, it's offensive and exploitive. That's not what this website is about AT ALL.

Well thats not the issue Danno. When you refresh the page the top automatically shows, and i have a coworker behind me. So before i can scroll the picture clearly shows up. Make sense?
