| | Avatars, what does yours mean?
I love seeing the avatars people use on forums. During the signing up process I remember seeing a suggestion that members to this forum post a personal photo of themselves. I did, but recently I changed to a more abstract one, as have quite a few other members such as paolo, markymark, jacqueline and dan.
So, what is the story behind your avatar?
For me it is quite simple, my daughter loves penguins and I love Liverpool FC, so to find an avatar of a penguin wearing a Liverpool shirt was a natural choice.

Mine of course is the crest for the wonderful Azzurri. I took them winning the world cup on my birthday as a sign that i am in debt to them forever.

I used to come by here often on my way to Villa Pamphili for a run. I'm facing the Fontana dell'Acqua Paola, a grandiose fountain dating to 1612. Behind me is a view not to be missed. You can see numerous domes dotting the city, and also Palazzo Venezia and Castel Sant'Angelo. On a clear day at the right time of year, you can see the Colli Albani, snowcapped hills behind Rome.

Sardoman has a penguin, Markymark has a sheep...should I get some animal too?
Maybe I will.
As for mine, Paolo changed it for Valentines Day. As a special treat, Paolo can give you a random avatar if you want something different! |
