Thumbs up The Renaissance: Studies in Art and Poetry

I read this book several days ago, it's a very famous and influential work wrote by Walter Pater. My teacher recommended it to me and I like it very much, especially the part The Poetry of Michelangelo and Leonardo Da Vinci. You can read it here:http://www.authorama.com/renaissance-1.html

Default Novels about the Artists

I work with museums in Italy, and have often picked up a few choice novels on the artists or people depicted themselves. They are excellent. Here's my short list:

- Biography of Arthemisia Gentileschi
- Galileo's Daughter
- Paulina Borghese
- Peggy Guggenheim's Autobiography
