I think Italy should give the 150.000 Euro with a smile. It is really a small sum for the Italian Government considering their incredible waits in resurces.
The Iceman is worth an enormous amount more then the 150.000 the Austrian couple asked.
If the italian government start giving rewards people may even turn in the art finds instead of hiding them or selling them on the black market.

Poor Oetzi, little did he know people would fight over his body. I think it is fair to compensate the finders. The local economy has certainly benefited from it. So, why shouldn't the finders get some of the benefit.
