My father and I got back from Italy a few weeks ago and I thought I'd share some links with everyone here.

For the record, this link Italy 2009 was our expected itinerary, though we did not stick to it very religiously.

Sounds like you had a great time and learned a lot. It was interesting to see the vast differences among all of the places that you saw. I think that Saint Peter's would have been my favorite part of the trip.
