Default Availability of Recipe ingredients...

Salve a tutti, tangobunny here...
I LOOOOOVE to cook and am wondering if there are certain things I will still be able to buy for recipes when I am living in italy (for those who don't know i am moving to Siena in july).
Such as Dijon mustard, mayo, creme fraiche, premade things like pastry puffs....; anything anybody know of that I specifically WON"T be able to find? I've already been told to forget about KimChee, but I know how to make that myself. Grazie, T.B.

Siena is a very small town.
In Rome you can find these ingredients rather easily: at Castroni's stores or 'mercato coperto' (indoor market) di Piazza Vittorio.

Thank you for your kind response, Max, molto gentile. So probably I could find those things then in bigger cities? How about Florence? That's just 30 minutes away drive from Siena. Karina aka Tangobunny.

Default Peanut Butter

I have heard that it is next to impossible to find peanut butter anywhere in Europe. It would be a great idea to try nutella though in its place! It is so good!!!

Most things can be found in the local Conad or Co-Op supermarkets. I live in a small village and our local shop sells mayo, mustards, lots of pre-made pastries and Peanut Butter!
